Bagpipe, electric guitars and whisky: Celtic punk as it should be!
That's what Irish Moutarde offers you, a St.Patrick's day party everyday.
Irish Moutarde is a group from Quebec City, Canada, counting 7 musicians. Their motto: ROCK YOUR IRISH ASS!
Active since 2010, Irish Moutarde consists of Mathieu Audet (rhythm guitar), Jérôme Bélanger (lead guitar), Christian Haerinck (bagpipe), Dominic Haerinck (banjo), Sébastien Malenfant (drums), Andrée-Anne McHalley (vocals) and Fred Vandals (bass). Don't forget their mascot, Olaf the Irish giraff!
Having started as a tribute to Irish Punk (ex.: Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly), it's in 2012 that Irish Moutarde offers us its first single, titled The Bear and the Maiden Fair. The song become an instantaneous hit on the web. This keen interest leads the group, in Fall 2013, to release its first album, Raise 'Em All. The album gets rave reviews from all over the world, and many consider it as one of the best albums of 2013.
